market days

saturdays are market days around here. i'm already looking forward to going tomorrow. what are your plans?

p.s.: i'm thinking about switching to flickr when posting photos here. only i can't find an html code for an 800 size (the size i'm currently using with picasa). anyone got any ideas? many thanks!

oh, and since dorte asked why i want to link to picasa or flickr in the first place (i love questions! :)): simply because the large size that blogger allows me to upload directly is too small for my liking. or have some new developments bypassed me?

tomorrow I'm finally picking up my camera! yay!

about the html: get the html code from flickr for the large size. the code will look something like this:
(a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xxx/xxx" title="xxx by yyy, on Flickr")(img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/123/123.jpg" width="1024" height="683" alt="xxx" /)(/a)

(I exchanged the < and > with ( and ) above, to make sure that blogger didn't think there was supposed to be html in my comment)

next: delete the height="683" (or whatever your number is), change the width to width="800" and tada! 800px photos! (hopefully)

have a great weekend!

I think you have to write both height and width to be on the safe side. Not all browsers understand it if you only state the width ... why do you actually want to link back to either picasa or flickr?

markets in berlin are great.
did you resolve the photo issue? i post my photos from flickr like kristina explains above, deleting the height and changing the width.

oh this makes me almost want to cry! everything looks so beautiful and delicious. we do not have any of this in iceland. the few kinds of vegetables that are actually grown here on the island are actually quite good - but since they are all grown in greenhouses the same variety is available year-round, there is no seasonality here. i miss tasting the changing of the seasons in my produce...

please enjoy it all a little extra for me kristina! <3

Glad you figured out how to use flickr, I use too and I love how user-friendly it is.
