outside our room in venice was a corridor with three buddha statues. they looked so calm and peaceful. in the morning, we had breakfast on the roof terrace just opposite our room. a feast for the eyes. the bread was divine. tasted like a a cross-over of white bread and unsweetened scones. particularly the one with walnuts was a dream.
