what is your favourite winter pastime?
p.s.: i'm currently trying to find out what i can do with what lens on my DSLR (and in what light). not as straight-forward as i thought. also have a roll of b&w in my praktica and a roll or colour film in my voigtlaender.

Knitting!!! Though it really only counts for this winter since it's my first winter were I've known how to knit :-)
Cooking, trying new receips in a nice warm kitchen, for a group of people who love food just as much as I do :)
i know! it's been hard to take pictures this winter. i leave when it's dark and get home when it's dark :( my favorite winter past time has to be walks at dusk (when i can) so as not to let the dark get to me too much.
painting, reading, playing in the snow - with my husband & son, enjoying natur, sleeping long, cooking new recipes & cookies, lieing with my darlings in bed...
Reading all curled up is a favourite! That top photograph is awesome and it made me pause for a bit trying to figure out what it was. It reminded me of those tricky photos in a book that I was shown as a kid and then you turn the page and it's revealed in it's entirety!...I scrolled down and found out it was a chair. So clever!
I start with warm and quite breakfast with magazines or papers. And them read, knit and imagine. Sit and let my mind fly.
I think i prefer the last one... because there is not only a "chair" but a "décor", like a scene... but the oters are good too ; ) Have a great w.e. Bises
Well reading under the blanket with a hot chocolate. Old time favourite !
Lot's of snuggling, reading, knitting, games, eat, eat, eat...
Happy Weekend!
ooohh, so many good ideas! thanks so much!
you know what - i think i may have a new favourite winter pastime myself. tonight, i've been cooking dinner, listened to the radio, did some washing up and had a glass of sparkling wine, all at the same time. lovely!
eating...
this year, playing with and caring for a cat. The other things i do drawing and crocheting and cooking i do all year round.
i just LOVE these photos. and i think i might have to go to ikea and get a sheep skin :)
i'd say reading or creating. but it's not really winter here, so that would be the same all year round.
oh my god - what wonderful photos! it is 43 degrees today in melbounre, so winter feels sooo far away right now...but i like to look at wintry bogs and try and feel the crisp snow:)
